New Year's Snowy Engagement Session at Lapham Peak - Delafield, Wisconsin
Ryan and Brittany met their freshman year of college at UW-Madison. They were introduced through mutual friends, but would not really connect until their junior year. After 6 years, 3 degrees, 2 cats, and a dog - here they are! They are so excited for what the new year and new decade has in store for them including becoming MR. and MRS.
These two celebrated their love on New Year's with a snowy winter engagement session at Lapham Peak in Delafield, Wisconsin. Cheers to the soon to be Mr. and Mrs!

Cassie + Ben's Winter Woodland Engagement Session at Retzer Nature Center
December 2019
After a few emails back and forth from Cassie and Ben, I knew right away that we would be a perfect match! They even met me at The Appleton Ice Rink to have a bridal meeting while I was in between my sons hockey games. I'm based in the Waukesha area, and they happen to live near the ice rink that we had a game at. So we met up on a cold Sunday in November. The rink was full and there was no quiet place to sit and talk. We had no choice but to sit outside on a bench and freeze, while I showed Cassie & Ben recent weddings from The Bog! (Ps, Shout out to The Bog, one of my favorite Wedding Venues!) These two are getting married next winter at The Bog! After meeting and talking wedding photography, they decided to hire me for their wedding! WOOHOO!! I already knew we'd be a perfect fit after they worked around my hockey mom schedule and met me at the rink to chit chat! I'm grateful to have gained another awesome, laid back couple to my 2021 Weddings!!
The weather for our winter woodland engagement was perfect! Hard to believe the day after Christmas was 50 degrees and sunny! During our shoot, we laughed and talked wedding while I documented a beautiful love story at Retzer! Bailey, their pup, joined in on the adventure at Retzer. Cassie and Ben, I'm so excited to be your photographer! Cheers!

"Daniel and I met the first night I started working at Donnie boys downtown Waukesha. We became friends at first.. I was sooo scared to turn it into more then just friends because our friendship was so strong. Our first date was at the chocolate factory! Daniel purposed last October at the elegant farmer. He took me to breakfast in the morning and kept telling me he had to go to the bathroom but he was trying to make sure everything was ready at the farm. When we got to the farm we went apple picking and then we got on a hay ride to the pumpkin patch.. he asked me to look at a few pumpkins and I kept saying no I don’t like them and finally he was like can you please just go back and look at that pumpkin and when I turned the pumpkin around it said Jessica will you marry me! When I turned around Daniel was down on one knee! I was sooo excited and I kept saying I have to call my family! And he just kept saying just wait until later.. we’ll we got back on the hay ride to go back and Daniel said why don’t you look over there... all of our family and friends were there with a huge picture sign and balloons waiting for us!!!" - Their Love Story by The Bride, Jessica

These two wed on the most beautiful Saturday afternoon that Wisconsin could offer. They were married in the Gazebo at The Ingleside Hotel surrounded by all their family and friends. They had the coolest Starwars themed wedding decor. From the light sabers during bridal portraits, to the custom coasters and R2D2 as their ring bear!
